Warren in 1921 and 800 pages

Posted by Joel Heck on Thursday, November 5, 2015
This version completes the addition of material from Warren's service with the RASC in Sierra Leone in 1921, and it incorporates the proofreading of the first 800 pages. The document is now 981 pages long, within reach of the 1,000-page goal, and well past a half-million words. A new goal: at least 100 sources, which will be met because of references to unpublished letters. Some minor improvements include the addition of some biographical information about various authors and speakers at the Socratic Club as well as other minor details. I am also looking at improving the prose in my review, eliminating redundancies, add clarifications, etc. Still an occasional correction of a typographical error.

I have decided to include below almostall of the Spotlights that I have posted thus far, since they are often important, but little known, events in the life of C. S. Lewis. That file appears below, in case some readers have missed some of the previous postings. There are seven postings in that file, and I invite people to submit a candidate for the next posting.

The file that appears below lists all works of C. S. Lewis in chronological order (now 528 in number) in the location where they were first published or delivered (if spoken) as far as I am able to determine. Corrections are welcome. This version, slightly revised and added on May 13, 2020, includes a corrected date for "Transposition" on June 9, 1946.
